First, when you make a reservation at this location, be aware that the same property is shared with the Hotel Del Cavalieri. Be sure to specify Hotel The Square to your taxi driver to be taken to the right entrance (which is on the other side of the block).

On my last evening at this centrally located hotel,the emergency light went on in my room, shining directly in my face and waking me up at 3 AM! I of course searched for an off switch which I found none. Call the reception desk and not get an answer. Finally went off 45 minutes later. Enjoyed staying here. Room was small but very clean and updated. Breakfast was great. Hotel is very well located in Milan near the Duomo. Staff were very accomodating....
