This older style, low-rise, downtown hotel with its Juliet balconies and quaint single lift is located in a busy part of Milan right next to the Lima Metro subway. The rooms are comfy and a full buffet breakfast is served in a bright & spacious dining area on the 6th floor.
The iconic Duomo di Milano (gothic cathedral) & Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II (luxury shops) are a fair walk away, but worth visiting.

I started my holiday in Italy mid-April with three days in Milan and ended the holiday mid-May with another four days in the same hotel. I know Milan is rated amongst the most expensive but in the space of three weeks my room rate had practically doubled! (A travel agent had done my hotel bookings.) We recently stayed 5 nights at UNAHOTELS Galles Milano in a Junior Suite and overall had a comfortable and convenient experience. The suite itself was modern, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of amenities and a nice variety of in-room essentials. A few small issues came up during our stay, but to the hotels credit, they were addressed promptly each time.

We stayed for 2 nights in the hotel.. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were clean and big. Room staff greeted as well and gave us the spa kit that came along with the package. However weather in milan was hot around 25c but there was no ac in the room. No fan either. Upon asking we were told that they are not allowed to start ac as per Milan City regulations. They had no fan either and we were asked to keep the wind...
