Experience at the Grand Hotel Oriente, Naples
Upon arrival, the Grand Hotel Oriente initially gives the impression of grandeur suggested by its name. Unfortunately, this impression quickly fades. When compared to what other contemporary hotels are offering todayin both presentation and guest experiencethe hotel feels dated and firmly stuck in the past, perhaps lingering in the shadow of its former heyday.

What a fabulous location as a base for our city break. Handy for the underground just 2 mins away and the main shopping area. Easy walking distance to main city highlights. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly, especially Paula on the bar she was a delight. Rooms recently refurbished and very spacious...

We got lucky on location. Not knowing the city, we kind of gambled. The hotel offered easy access to many sites in the city and steps to the main shopping in the city. The roof bar and restaurant were wonderful. Beautiful views of the city. The staff were very helpful and kind. My Husband and I traveled to Southern Italy in October of 2025 and used Naples as our base for travel. We spent 8 nights at the Grand Hotel Oriente in Naples. We found it to be a wonderful hotel, in a great location with lovely, friendly and very helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite because of the length of our stay, which was a nice surprise.
