Got a late reservation here after a cancelled flight.. or so we thought. Arrived at the hotel for them to tell us the hotel was overbooked so the room we booked for three wasnt available, they only had a room with one bed. Booked into the Holiday Inn Express mainly as I like IHG hotels. Flew in from London and was staying 1 night before moving on. Arrived tired and was looking forward to getting a good night sleep prior to our trip starting proper.

We choose this hotel because it is near train station (walking distance). Room is spacious and could comfortablely accommodate 2 adults, 2 large luggages and 2 hand carries.
Pleasant front desk employees - smiling and helpful each time.
Breakfast included with room booking. Good options including cereal, fruits, hot food like scrambled eggs and sausages, oatmeal, pastries, yogurt etc.

I had the displeasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Chelsea, New York, and it was an experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Where do I even begin?
Firstly, the personnel were incredibly inexperienced. It was evident from the moment I walked in that they were out of their depth.

Room was sufficient for a one night stay for the 3 of us however, its was a very tight fit! Room was really small with barely enough room to sit down to put my shoes on. Im sure there were probably bigger options. Very clean and comfortable. Beds were great and the floor we were on was quiet. Continental breakfast was hard to access because the hotel was too big for the small space that it was set up. Definitely not...
