Incredible hotel, friendly and responsive staff, especially Rachel at the reception, the nicest I have ever met, wonderful location - in the center of everything, good breakfasts and THE VIEW!! I stayed in the Terrace Suite - the best. Thank you again. And recommended. Dont miss the chance to enjoy NYC to the fullest with Hotel 48LEX New York....

An ok hotel with a noisy lift if your room is near it taxes on everything same as everything in New York...

First time in NY. Great location, clean room and view, but poor heating and not enough hot water in extreme cold.

The location is great. The room and the view were very nice, and the room was very clean. However, the hot water was not very hot, especially since it was very cold outside. The central heating was quite noisy and did not provide enough warmth....

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a bit hesitant about my reservation. I wasted time with worry as my experience was wonderful from the minute I stepped into Hotel 48LEX. Brady at the front desk checked me in quickly and said my room was available.
My room was quite spacious and very comfortable. The thermostat was set and the room was nice and warm especially since it was extremely cold outside....

Excellent staff and beautiful rooms, but hindered by major technical issues

I have mixed feelings about my stay. On the positive side, the hotel itself is beautiful. The guest rooms are extremely nice, and the snacks and drinks offered in-room were a wonderful bonus. Furthermore, the staff is truly excellentattentive, professional, and very responsive to every request.
However, several functional issues made the stay difficult, particularly for a business trip. One of the two elevators was...
