Just finished a great stay in the NH Collection NY Madison Avenue hotel. Some of the most authentically nice, helpful and positive employees Ive experienced in a long time. From the moment I got out of my Uber (friendly/helpful greeting), to my check-in (Christina was welcoming and even offered a free upgrade to a special room), it was a terrific stay. The lobby and room were nicely decorated and appointed. The room was basically clean but items that hadn't been moved in a while were covered in a layer of dust. The room was on the second floor along the street and the noise made sleep essentially impossible. ...

The breakfast and dinner buffet at NH Collection Colombo is genuinely impressive, an extensive spread drawing from multiple cuisines, with more than enough variety to keep every meal feeling fresh. Great staff, great hotel, and lobby. The lobby is outstanding, making it an ideal setting for both social gatherings and business meetings. The live entertainment is equally impressive, featuring high-quality jazz performances. The real killer application, however, is its direct connection to Serafina, allowing guests to enjoy the restaurants excellent cuisine either on-site or via convenient in-room dining....
