The area where this hotel is and the room were great and confortable. The food, not so good. But what really made my stay horrible was that I got robbed by the room service staff. The person who cleaned my room took my new coat, which I left in a chair. I reported this but no one seemed to care. I find it unbelievable that at a hotel of this caliber, guests cannot feel safe leaving their belongings in their room beca...

Would Stay Again for our Next City Visit!

Anniversary weekend in the city and the Residence Inn exceeded our expectations. Compared to other Residence Inns we've stayed at, this is by far the nicest given the amazing views we had. We had a corner room on the top floor overlooking Central Park and the other window, the Hudson. The room was not ready when we arrived at 2pm, so we dropped off our bags and went shopping and got a few things completed on our list...

First NYC trip - Elevator situation was the only issue

This was our first time in NYC and we are a family of 5 (including 3 adult children). We had two rooms, a Family Suite and a King city view. Our King room ended up being a corner room, so that was a nice unexpected surprise. Don't be fooled by the name "suite" for the other room, it was tiny, but we weren't in the rooms very much.
