Staff was excellent, and it's good location if you want to be in TS, Theater area. We found the condition of the 2 rooms to be about what the other reviewers reported. It's old and tired and needs updating. It is not up to Marriott standards. Lifted flooring in the kitchen, peeling paint in the bathroom, cabinets falling apart. We stayed here for 4 nights in two rooms, party of 6.
Pros
Super location. Right across the street from Bryant park and walking distance to all the attractions of Times Square, fifth avenue, subways etc. very well located
Breakfast being included was great, meant we could potter down and relax and plan the day. Decent feed. Some days better than others but overall v good

We stayed at the Hotel 9 days during our visit to NYC. We usually stay in hotels belonging to another large chain, but we decided to give Marriott Bonvoy a chance this time. The booking of the room was very friendly and easy. We chose a Queen size room with a view to the Empire State Building. We arrived in the late afternoon hours. I have never been able to afford to stay in manhattan. Times Square was a dream experience and I was able to give my kids a wonderful trip I could afford. Rooms were updated and clean as Marriott standards were clearly upheld. The continental breakfast was so much more than fruit and cereal- again, Marriott standards were exceeded! We stayed here for about 4 nights. Overall we had a good stay, hence I gave it 4stars, but Im not sure I would stay there again unless they did some updates. We had a spacious room with small kitchenette and high floor view looking down 5th ave (we could see the sign for Radio City Music Hall).
