Close to Bryant Park

The hotel location, across from Bryant Park, was great for accessing restaurants, Times Square and Bryant Park itself which always has a buzz about it.
The street outside is easy to hail cabs from. The rooms are ready for an update, being a little dark and 90s style. However the rooms are clean and comfortable and in our corner room, you got extra windows and more space....

**Terrible experience cockroaches in the room**
I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. On two different nights, cockroaches appeared in my room. They were coming from behind the refrigerator, and when we moved the fridge away from the wall, there was clearly a nest of cockroaches there. It was absolutely disgusting.

I had a payment incident where I was overcharged. I spoke with the General Manager, Patrick Flanerly over this issue. This lead to an unsolved problem which makes me feel discriminated against because of my skin color and ethnicity. His body language, smirks and attitude made me feel uncomfortable even though my familys background is from India. I myself am an American Citizen and was treated like a 2nd class citize...

This hotel is the perfect location -close to metro, theaters and great food. Even a Whole Foods nearby if you are staying for a while.
Rooms are a bit dated but very clean.
Every contact we had with staff was way above average! Well trained, professional,courteous and friendly. Staff seem genuinely happy to work there and it shows. Well be back!...
