Service poor. Broken blind. No one fixed it. No one told me they were trying.

Given Room 2616. Woke in the morning to find the thick blind won't open, leaving the room really dark so did the following to try and get it fixed;
8am - Call Guest Services who say they'll get an engineer up.
8:30am - No one arrived so on my way out, I pop by reception to make sure it's being followed up.
2pm - Get back to room. Still not fixed. Explain to employee on 26th floor who says she'll chase it.

Amazing experience. After an exhausting redeye flight, we come to the hotel ready to check in, but our room is not yet clean.
With no energy to spare, we begged to see if theres anything the hotel can do. Luckily for us, Nicole did everything in her power to get us checked in as soon as possible. This made our New York City experience 10 times better and incredibly worth staying at the Lexington.

The hotel was great but Nicole, one of the front desk staffs is what made this experience so great for us, we were so tired from a red eye and she did everything she could to put us up in a room as soon as possible and let me tell you that wasnt easy because the hotel was so busy but just her understanding and empathizing with us was so appreciated!...

I have stayed here many times over the last few years and its time to share my experiences. One issue is my room is normally paid for my company, so I expect the rooms I am given are not the best, and thats probably why this review is not flourishing with great comments.

Huge mistake staying at this hotel. Where do I begin. Heat not working telephone not working. I think thats a code violation. Dingy, dark and in need of a thorough cleaning and updating. No amenitiez. No shower cap, no coffee in room. Stay away!!...
