Stayed for five nights in a queen room with an Empire State view on the 16th floor. The room is small, but very comfortable. It was much quieter than expected and we slept well. Great service from everyone on staff. Loved the jazz in the parlor. Highly recommend!...

5 star but room issues

The location, staff and service were excellent. The restaurant and bar were also very good.
Although I paid to upgrade my room (306) it was still a bit cramped and there was really no view as the window was blocked by the ornamental entrance. If I can figure out a better room Ill be back frequently....

All good except short beds

Great location in the village a block from Parsons/New School. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Clean. Room service was average - edible but not delicious. Had a two bed room and it was tiny. Would be fine/expected in nyc but beds were short so feet hang off the end. 510 tall and could not stretch out. Bed linens so tightly made that you cant get your feet out of the end so either sleep knees up or with feet smash...

Terrible. Do not stay here. The rooms are weird - spacious but with no furniture. Bedding is cheap. The choice for room temp was either "on" which made our room 64 degrees or "off" which made it hot and muggy. Staff were indifferent....

Loved my stay at the Walker Hotel though my double room was a bit tight for two and decor is a bit dated. However, the staff are superb - front desk, restaurant and housekeeping all lovely - and service is good, would definitely stay again. Location can't be beat and I slept super soundly and with no noise facing away from the street (with a nice view in back). Definitely worthwhile going for a larger sized room....
