Definitely not a 4 star hotel by any means. We were so excited to stay here but it just didn't live up to the online descriptions. Our room was so small we couldn't even move and the bed was two twins pushed together. My husband would have to get up multiple times a night to push them back together because he kept falling in the middle. Upon arrival the staff were quite rude and ignored us at the check in desk for a while.
Upon entering our room on the. 5th floor (a premium room) we noticed the shower screen was very mouldy, the shower was broken and flooded the bathroom upon use, the towels had holes in them and the robes were torn.

Over the past 22 years we always stay here on our regular visits to Nice because it is simply the best hotel in Nice. Staff are always friendly & helpful. The location is great, only minutes away from the Old Town, restaurants, market, beach & Place Massena with good tram links. Very disappointing experience. This hotel is in urgent need of a full renovation.
The first room I was assigned had a shower that barely worked, forcing me to request a room change. While the staff accommodated the move, the second room was not much better.
