The room was very small, hardly any room for suitcases, the bed was against a wall and there was only a tiny shell by the bedside.
No closet, just a small open space with a few hangers. No place to hang dresses.
The wifi was catastrophic and no mobile coverage at all.
Only French channels, no international news.
The breakfast room was small, cramped and noisy, but breakfast was ok.

The Hotel Byakko delivered everything it promised; good location, close to public transport, exceptionally helpful reception staff ( a shout out for Mehava!), great breakfast included in the rate and the room was well equipped ( albeit the bedroom and shower room were quite small). We stayed at the Byakko for 5 nights as part of a South of France trip. We are a family of 3 and my 2 parents. Our triple room was wonderful. Clean, large and a huge wrap around sun terrace. My parents was lovely, a small balcony to watch Nice go by. Tea, coffee and a kettle provided on the rooms. We also had a fridge. The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is well located within Nice and easy to find. Its situated around 10 minutes walk to the train station, 10 minutes from the nearest tram and about 20 minutes down to the main promenade and old town.
The hotel staff offered a warm welcome on check-in, worked hard at breakfast and took care of minor requests we had throughout our stay with a smile.

Lovely hotel close to the train station.
Staff helpful and pleasant. Breakfast offered adequate options to start your day on. Great to have access to tea, coffee and fruit juice in the afternoon along with infused water at reception.
We stayed in a deluxe double and the room was fresh and clean and had everything we required....
