The Hotel Byakko Nice does not offer a warm welcome to allow you a pleasant stay. Had a good experience 2025 for 19 days. I paid nonrefundable 3 months in advance REQUESTING THE SAME ROOM I had: double deluxe most expensive, with balcony, facing front street, upper floor. I arrive to a room with one small window and immediately complained.

We had a mini break in Nice and booked here via Jet 2. It's a very small, but friendly hotel in a good location near the train station and main shopping areas and about a 25 minute walk to the old town and the sea. The hotel rooms were very small, but as we were only there for 3 nights, this wasn't a big issue for us. The room was very small, hardly any room for suitcases, the bed was against a wall and there was only a tiny shell by the bedside.
No closet, just a small open space with a few hangers. No place to hang dresses.
The wifi was catastrophic and no mobile coverage at all.
Only French channels, no international news.
The breakfast room was small, cramped and noisy, but breakfast was ok.

The Hotel Byakko delivered everything it promised; good location, close to public transport, exceptionally helpful reception staff ( a shout out for Mehava!), great breakfast included in the rate and the room was well equipped ( albeit the bedroom and shower room were quite small).
