The staff at the hotel went beyond the call of duty to be incredibly helpful. A medical emergency required urgent hospitalisation and surgery. We had to stay back at the hotel for an extra week after discharge from hospital. We received first class care and consideration from staff at reception (Virginia, Sofia, Michele and Loreto, and others) catering (Vincinzo, Letitia) and a wonderful cleaner (Maria)...

The breakfast is in the stuffy basement .My room on the groundf foor faced the parking lot .the cars too close to the window. The receptionists friendly and helpful, location central, much can be reached on foot

Centrally located. We arrived early (2:30pm) so there was a parking spot available at the back (only about 10 spaces). $25 Euros to park for the night. Hotel was easily found using Google Maps. An older hotel that needs some touch ups. Very, very, very noisy! Rooms are not well insulated for sound. There was a huge outdoor party outside (unbeknownst to us) which led to a sleepless night. First trip to Palermo and hotel was selected by Tour company. Read past reviews and not worthy of 4 stars. Basic rooms and need to improve bedding to cover mattress, not fitted. Staff not very friendly. Small bar off lobby not even open on Saturday night. Good location in the city but noisy at night from outside...

Great location but do not accept a basement room

Do not accept a room in the basement. The street music carries on into the early hours and you hear the endless thumping base beat. I changed my room to one on an upper floor facing the back, and was fine. With that proviso, I would recommend this hotel. My room was spacious and clean, and the location is superb....
