I really don't know where some of the people writing reviews stayed - this is not the experience we had April 25. We stayed here for a week and had room 113. Yes the lift is small, ALL European lifts are small, take the stairs - it is only a 4 storey hotel.

Lovely looking hotel on the outside! Inside not so much. See photos. Toilet available if you climb over the bidet. Shower so antique that Ive had better showers in the rain. Tv is a portable size, 20 inch at best. Decor dated. Lift to levels so small that you can just fit one person and luggage.

This charming little htl with painted ceilings and chandeliers and wonderful, helpful staff.
Walking distance to everything and surrounded by cafes and Trattoria.
Immaculately clean, well appointed rooms.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for that old work charm presented with all modern facilities ...

Location was great--right in the heart of everything. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed after being misled by the very positive reviews. We were given 2 rooms next to each other, but they were very basic and not what was promised. The desk clerk moved us to 2 different rooms on separate floors. This hotel unfortunately has more negatives than positives. This is no reflection on the staff who were helpful and friendly but there was a language barrier.
Positives
The location is great! We were able to walk to most attractions. There was a plethora of great restaurants nearby and we were spoilt for choice.
