Massimo Plaza Hotel is a real find. A small hotel in a perfect location, a comfortable spacious room and good breakfast. Despite being in a popular location, it is surprisingly quiet at night, but wonderfully convenient for my amazing night at Teatro Massimo. Above all, friendly and helpful staff who are on hand to assist and advise on travel options....

The staff was great, the rooms were spacious and very nice. The breakfast service was excellent. It only has 11 rooms, so it is not very busy which created a quiet environment. The location was perfect for our family as it was centrally located to the downtown tourist area and historical venues. We highly recommend staying at this hotel...

This was our first time in Palermo and we are very happy with the decision to stay at the Massimo Plaza hotel. We had a car and while the hotel is located in the historic district they were very helpful lining up a spot at an excellent parking garage 2 blocks away. Hotel Massimo (Palermo) - fabulous! Well appointed room with a comfy bed and nice bathroom. Bathrobes and slippers. Daily breakfast (included in the room rate) delivered to the room when you want, and delivered on time (you order the night before). You have a choice of savory or sweet breakfast and cereals. This is the second time we have stayed here. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, central and directly opposite the Opera House. Breakfast was simple but good, you had to book a table for breakfast as there are only three tables, this wasn't a problem for us but haven't come across this before....
