The Massimo Plaza Hotel is a very nice smaller hotel in an excellent location near many shops and restaurants. The staff is very professional and friendly. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. We had a street view with a small balcony, directly across from the beautiful theater. The breakfast offered is delicious and plentiful, and the staff pays attention to such details as to what your preferences...

Excellent location. Ask for a room facing the Teatro Massimo. The staff is very friendly and helpful and multilingual. I would not describe it as a luxury hotel, but it was an excellent value. Easy 24/7 parking nearby. I would definitely stay there again....

Excellent service, warm welcome and brilliantly positioned for walking around Palermo. It's up a single flight of steep stairs so may be less suitable for people with disabilities. Good breakfast. Good value for money. Comfortable rooms. Air conditioning. Would stay again....

This hotel is in a excellent and beautiful location, the staff were excellent and very helpful. But this hotel is in DESPERATE need of renovation: we were in a Classico room on the back of the hotel; Im afraid the view wasnt quite what we expected but we were prepared to pay to upgrade to a Superior room with a piazza view and the view from the room we moved to did not disappoint. Three of us stayed here, we each had our own room. The hotel is quaint, clean, with a wonderful staff. They were so helpful. Two of us wanted to go to a hair salon and one of the ladies at the front desk (I wish I could remember her name) recommended a place. Turned out to be one of the best coIor and cut I had ever had.
