I gave this hotel an excellent rating because it is like having your own apartment right in the heart of Paris. The Saint Germain des Pres location is right next to the Pont Neuf and within a short walk to Notre Dame in the Latin Quarter. The staff is friendly and helpful. If your towels are used, you can bring them downstairs and put them into the hamper and take fresh ones. No asking housekeeping to stop by. The s...

Location is second to none. This apart-hotel had everything we needed to recharge and refresh during a busy week touring Paris. Our family of three found the cleanliness and full set of amenities to be top notch. Courteous and helpful staff. Really enjoyed staying here with my family. The apartment had everything that we needed. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and the sofa bed used by our teenagers was excellent as it was actually 2 beds. It seemed as though the apartment was freshly decorated. I write this review with a profound sense of disappointment to highlight what I feel is an extremely unethical and deceptive pricing practice.
On the hotels website it advertises a studio with a view of the Seine for 335 per night (about $350) including fees and taxes. I booked the room for four nights and authorized a charge to my credit card. Expecting to see a charge of about $1400, I was surprised to see the ...

The one good and only redeeming feature of Citadines Saint Germaine des Pres is the location. That is where the good ends. We arrived to be told by the receptionist the lifts do not work and we would need to carry our luggage (and there was a lot) up four flights of stairs to the room.
