Broken AC and horrible management!

The worst hotel experience ever! The AC didn't work in the room, and the staff kept telling us that the room would eventually cool down. They knowingly misled us, leaving us to suffer through the extreme heat instead of being honest and admitting that it's not working. Then they sent someone to fix it and it made it even worse. When we spoke with the manager the next day, he had a terrible attitude and spoke to me in...

Nice place but ac didnt work well. Great location, service, and a spacious suite room.
Couldnt even set ac below 72 and even w that it would only cool to 75 mid day and that w highs in low 80s
We also would not book again bc they allow cats and our allergies seemed to get worse at night when in room esp sitting on upholstered couch or chairs.

Feces on the shower head

We had a previous stay at the hotel with no issues, but second time we went, I was taking a shower before my partner and wanted to removed some dirt on the shower head - within seconds i recognized the smell of human feces.
Management tried to tell me that this is just in the water of Paris, but I have a photo of leftovers and there is a big difference between poor smelling water and poop..
never again!!...

The hotel presents itself as 5 star. If you judge it by service standards, it is at best 3 stars.
The positives: beautiful interior, the Alfred Sommier suite is beautiful in true Parisian style.
The negatives:

This tries to be a trendy property, but it lacks severely on many aspects. Rooms are the size of a boxed car, unless you booked a suite. Cigarette smokes permeates the main lobby from the courtyard and your room from other rooms-if you and they have a terrace. Staff doesn't seem to care much.
