Good location and reception staff were friendly but this is not a 4* hotel, it might be a 2/3*. The hotel is dated and not very clean. Glad we did not get the breakfast as it did not look good, the breakfast set up is in the foyer when coming out of elevator to leave the hotel. Emailed in advance to ask about irons but no response. Did not provide daily water and also could not provide a kettle.

Loud noise from metro underneath hotel.

The staff is great and the rooms are quite roomy for Parisian standards. BUT our room had a terrible, terrible noise problem. There is a very loud rumbling sound every five minutes which comes from the metro underneath. They clearly know this but still give these rooms to people without a warning. Not acceptable. Falling asleep is a big issue. Wil never come back here again....

Excellent location, clean, nice sized rooms and around many restaurants and bars. The staff was polite and helpful. Perfect location to connect with trains to other parts of France and the city....

To start with the positive this hotel is close metro, train and taxi stations and some staff are friendly & helpful. This hotel is definately not a 4 star...the outside of the hotel is disgusting, our first impression on arrival was a mattress lying on the ground which remained there for 2 days, there is open drug use in the area directly outside the hotrl & we did not feel safe there. The reception area is passable....

This hotel is rated four star, beware it is far from it. On entering room 604 my wife hit her head of door as door hits of bed and only opens half way. Room was boxy and carpets badly stained. Brekfast area very small and cafe like, some seats ripped. We only spent 2 hours at hotel and left, booking another 4 star hotel across the road which was outstanding, at my loss. Only upside was location and staff were nice. I...
