Our stay at Le Grand Quartier was nothing short of magnificent! The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, especially in giving us a room upgrade when we arrived. This was particularly great for us since we just got in on the red eye from NYC and I had to work the next day, so the suite they gave us with a couch and plenty of space was exactly what we needed. Good overall. Value for money in a reasonably accessible part of the city. Large rooms with good bathrooms and adequate facilities. Staff very helpful and polite. Near to major transport links for Metro and main train services. Quiet and pleasant....

Great location, spacious rooms, attentive service, and fantastic staff. Great selection of food at breakfast. Didn't have dinner there, but there are so many other restaurants in the local area to choose from to cater for ALL tastes.
Special mention to Georgia and Susie at front of house. Both were really helpful in explaining directions. Made my staff so very welcoming.

We werent staying at the hotel but the courtyard bar is advertised as being open to non residents. We called in around 10pm for a night cap because its such a lovely space but there is also a roof top bar. The bar had one person serving who made it clear that serving us was going to be far too much trouble: no, we couldnt visit the roof top bar because it was closed. Love this gem of a hotel on a quiet street near the Canal Saint-Martin neighborhood.
It was unseasonably warm when we were there so you can imagine we werent happy to enter stifling hot rooms because the air conditioning wasnt working. A facilities member was sent up to fix the AC but in the end, he couldnt get it working. The work around was providing four big fans which did the job.
