My Mom and I went on a trip to Paris last December, and we did extensive research on the areas of Paris. We really wanted to be within walking distance of a lot of things, including Notre Dame, Jardin de Luxembourg, the Louvre, and Musee d'Orsay. Le Senat was perfectly central to all of those. Good hotel but avoid breakfast in the windowless basement!
Based in St Germain, near to the glorious Luxembourg Gardens, this typical Parisian boutique hotel is in a quiet location and has clean and pleasant facilities. There were many pros to this hotel and a few cons.
The location is ideal for couples or travelers who want lots of options for restaurants. They were on every corner- many wonderful options. The Luxembourg park is just a block away and was lovely for morning or evening strolls. Access to the metro was close by. A great spot for walking to lots of Paris destinations.

Very nice little hotel in an excellent location, clean and cosy. Rooms are relatively small but nicely arranged. Bath is excellent. As usual in Paris, everything is tiny - especially the elevator, and the price is not low, but if you want to be centrally located, with quick access to everything including the airport and the Ille de France, this is a great choice....

Le Senat is highly recommended for its comfort and convenient location - on a quiet one-way street off the Parc Jardins de Luxembourg - with a convenient pull-in parking spot for taxis and Ubers. We have just returned to Canada after 8 days of a winter break in Paris. The staff are very responsive and professional. The hotel is quiet and our room was large for Paris with excellent amenities, close to local restaurant...
