The staff were very accommodating allowing us early access to our room and storing our luggage at the end of our stay, everyone was friendly, respectful and helpful. The hotel is well located with several Metro stations within easy walking distance. The local area is busy but the hotel itself is quiet with lots of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. A nice, small, 3-star hotel in the Opera district. I dont have any real complaints, it was fine. The breakfast was always adequate. The room was nice with a loft and balcony. The bathroom was roomy. Would I stay again? Probably not. The elevator is dinky (says it holds 3 people, but only if theyre super friendly with each other and have no luggage). The other downside for us was its location. First off, Ive seen outhouses bigger than the elevator which if it were any slower it wouldnt move at all.
The day time staff is nothing short of excellentnot so much the evening shift.
The room is small.
You can not take a normal shower without 5% of the water falling on the floor because there is no way to enclose the back part of shower.
The stairs are pie shaped and a trip hazard.
And worse of all, the ac/heat...

Do not pay extra for a superior room.

I had booked this hotel for 3 nights away and paid extra for a superior room. A few months prior to arrival, I emailed the hotel to confirm this booking for a superior room where they responded promptly and confirmed this for me.
