Do NOT go to Maxim Opera Hotel in Paris unless you want to walk over a homeless pirate sleeping on a twin mattress with an umbrella for shelter. Hes on the way to the metro and how we marked the hotel street. The gendarmes were in front of the hotel (4 of them) so we assumed they were going to help the man and send him to a shelter. No! Still there when we checked out. We travel to Europe and Paris in particular ...

From the warm welcome to saving our luggage on the day of departure our stay was faultless. We booked the hotel to celebrate my birthday and the whole experience for our first Paris trip was amazing. Our room was gorgeous with an amazing shower, fabulous toiletries and a comfy bed and welcome chocolates on arrival.
