My husband and I ,we where upgraded to a deluxe room (12) which was lovely comfortable and clean. We stayed 3 nights february 24-26 .Breakfast was amazing . The lovely lady Anca makes amazing breakfast . All the staff where lovely. We used the steamroom which was lovely after long day walking around Paris. The hotel is on a lovely street with resturants. We frequently rely on TripAdvisor when we travel and generally find it accurate. However, despite this hotels high rating, our experience was disappointing.
Our room had several issues (such as the electrical), but the most alarming was that the door lock was broken, in pieces on the floor (pls see attached pics), and the hotel ignored our repeated requests to fix it?!?! Because of this, we didnt feel safe staying...

I booked this hotel as it was really high ranked at Tripadvisor. And maybe by that, my expectation level was too high, but I was not impressed by the hotel.
My room was comfortable but in need of some maintenancepaint was peeling in several areas, and some lights werent working. The rooms also lacked soundproofing, as I could hear noise from the room above.

This hotel exceed our expectations! I noted in our reservation that we were celebrating our mom's 70th birthday and were surprised with chocolates, wine and a very nice hand written note.
The rooms were wonderful. Very clean and spacious (we were in executive and superior rooms, both were decent sized). Beds were very comfy. Loved the shower with the rain shower.
