Stayed here for the first time when seeing The Flaming Lips at Le Trianon across the road: the room was bigger than either of the hotels I have stayed at in Montmartre in recent times, and thankfully the soundproofing meant the noise from outside was kept to a minimum after the locals were celebrating Paris St Germain winning the Champions League: its a lottery getting to try the rooftop bar but its recommended...

I spent two nighs in this hotel as part of a business trip - excellent location and breakfast but quite noisy I have on first floor and it was quite noisy.
The rooftop bar is the best part of the hotel with breath taking views over Montmartre.
The staff was just aimable...

I love Paris and especially Montmartre and Pigalle so it was great to stay at Hotel Rochechouart. Fabulous location with Pigalle, Anvers and Abesses metro stations close by for exploring further into Paris or just stay local and follow the footsteps of Amelie, Edith Piaf and Henry Miller. The quality and value for money is below a 4-star standard. Rooms were spacious, high ceiling & location amazing in Pigalle, but service and charm of hotel lacking. I wouldn't come back to this hotel nor recommend to friends, would rather save money and opt for a cozier, more personal boutique hotel in the area.
