There's nothing that I would change about the Chic & Basic Gravity hotel. The location is perfect for me; close to the very centre of Porto and with plenty of restaurants and bars on the doorstep, but still quiet enough to get a great night's sleep. Amazing but book a garden view room

We loved this hotel. The quirkiness, the amazing staff and perfect location. The breakfast was great, tea and cake at 4pm and Happy Hour.
Reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the noise from the bar outside. We thought with earplugs it would be fine but we could still hear the noise that continued until nearly 3am. We were told on checkout that the garden rooms are quiet....

A very classy place to stay

We had a lovely time in Chic & Basic Gravity It is central in the Clerigos region close to the Lello Bookshop and plenty of good restaurants.
While there was building works close by our room was very sound proof and quiet
All staff were friendly and professional especially Nuno and Jose on reception
We can highly recommend this hotel and if we ever return to Porto this is the hotel we will use....

Really enjoyed our stay here - and had some of the nicest staff we have come across!
Rooms were clean
Location was great & within walking distance to everywhere
Our balcony overlooked a VERY busy bar & some noise could be heard until early hours but nothing a set of earplugs wouldnt sort!
Would recommend
(The thailander restaurant a few doors away was fabulous too!)...
