The hotels riverfront location made it an ideal base for a city break to Porto. We booked a river view balcony room and as soon we arrived we stepped out onto the balcony and were immediately absorbed by the sounds and sights of the place. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff anticipated all our needs and were delightful. We ate at Ribs and had breakfast there both mornings and the food was excellent. The location was great! We had river facing rooms and really loved the view- both day and night!...

Excellent experience from start to finish! Every single staff member was professional, kind , helpful just delightful! Impeccably clean , efficient. Food was excellent. Bed was comfortable! I would stay there again ! Location was fun right on the Duoro beautiful views....

This is one of the best hotels we have ever experienced! It is a beautiful authentic & historic yet modernized building located along the heart of the city and on boardwalk of the river.
