Luxurious facade let down by grubby rooms

Its a mixed bag this place. There are quite a few contradictions. It presents as luxury but is badly let down by grubby bathrooms and a very tired mattress that has seen better days! The rooftop bar and spa are lovely though and the staff are first class. Could easily be so much better if they spent some money on upgrading the bathrooms and beds....

We stayed here for 2 nights and highly recommend. Extremely friendly staff right from arrival all the way to check out. Great breakfast spread and friendly staff at the restaurant. Room was spacious for two, didnt use the rooftop restaurant but enjoyed the view briefly. About 20 minutes from railway station, highly recommend...

Porto Palácio Hotel has Excellent Location, Rooftop Bar with Incredible Restaurant and View! The Spa is very Relaxing as well.
We had a very nice e stay and the whole team was very kind.
We will definitely come back :)...

Beautiful room, friendly staff

We stayed in a deluxe room which for only a slight extra cost provided us with a huge room that overlooked the city.
The staff were friendly at all parts of our stay.
The breakfast buffet had a good selection of foods which were tasty, one morning we ordered breakfast to the room and it came exactly when wed asked for.
