We visited Porto late Jan. for 2 nights, staying at PortoBay Flores hotel. The property is on R. das Flores, a street that is reserved for pedestrian traffic. This means that if you are driving, you will need to park your car at a nearby garage (the hotel has agreements for preferential pricing). We stayed in the hotel for 3 days for a quick break from the UK. The hotel was pretty special, great location for the old city. lovely heritage features, but modern (very well equipped) rooms.
Every member of staff we encountered were super attentive and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

I chose PortoBay Flores based on the high recommendations, location, and fact that it was a newly opened and renovated building with grand history. The place is spectacular. It is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. Rooms are spacious and immaculate. Staff is superb. Food and beverages were awesome. The location could not be more perfect. Great safe and central location hotel with amenities. Calm atmosphere with many shopping options and must see attractions within walking distance. Grab a Pastel de nata ️ every day at the Manteigaria. The rooms were clean and had plenty of space. The upper floor rooms have great views. Multi lingual staff were more than helpful. The indoor pool and sauna (10am-10pm) were very relaxing....
