Torel 1884 is a magical place and the staff could not have been more helpful or classy. We didnt just feel welcomed here, we felt at home. You can tell they really love this place and want to share it with you. The location is perfect - walk out the door, and everything that is a must do in Porto is a lovely 10 minute walk away. An amazing experience! Our time in Porto was so memorable, and our stay here played a big part in that. Service was incredibly attentive and helpful, the rooms were very clean and beautiful, and the food delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay looked after by the capable Pedro and the lovely lady and gentleman in the restaurant. Pedro was an amazing help, advising us about restaurants and day trips and any questions we had. The service in the restaurant for lunch and breakfast was impeccable and the food outstanding.

I stayed last week with my 4yo daughter in one of the apartments and had a glorious time. The location could not be better and the amenities are superb. What stood out the most, however, was the hospitality, at breakfast and with our luggage and reception. Sometimes nicer hotels are cold feeling but each staff member made an effort to make me feel welcome even with a young child and that means the world to me....

The hotel has a unique vibe. It is cool and welcoming, pristine, exciting. It is grand without being demanding. Loved it....
