Wonderful hotel. Great location. 10-15 minutes walk from Old Town, 20 minutes to Charles Bridge. Lots of eating options in the area. The Thai restaurant on the ground floor is excellent. Clean rooms. Room service is really great. Made sure our coffee machine was stocked daily. If you run out, the front desk has extras. Bring a thermos and you can fill your bottle at the lobby. Convenient and good for the environment!...

I stayed at Hotel Essence recently and honestly the hotel looks nice, but it definitely doesnt deserve such a high rating or 4 stars.
Breakfast is served from 7 to 10, but if you come around 9, there are usually no free tables. When we asked the staff, we were told to come back in 10 minutes or eat in the lobby (this happened on more than one day). On top of that, during breakfast there was often no coffee or milk...

We spent three nights at Hotel Essence while visiting Prague and were very happy with our choice. The location is very convenient to the central train station, which was great both arriving and departing Prague, and there are multiple tram stops nearby if you need to travel by public transit. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Essence. The location is unbeatable just a short 7-minute walk to the Old Town Square and only 3 minutes to the Palladium shopping mall, yet the area feels very safe and comfortable. Great hotel in an excellent location close to everything we wanted to see in Prague. It was important for us that the hotel included a parking space and this one did. I also need to say that breakfast was great and everyone worked really hard every day we stayed there to make it really nice. Thank you!...
