Great stay in a fabulous hotel, in an amazing city.

We stayed in this wonderful hotel for three nights/four days and it was fabulous - probably the best city break we've ever had. Lovely clean and fully equipped rooms that were surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The food (breakfasts and dinners) was first class, and to have a violinist and harpist playing modern music at breakfast was a delight. Lovely hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. It is obvious that no expense was spared when the hotel was originally built as a bank, with high painted ceilings, marble and oak flooring and wide airy hallways. It is definitely worth paying for the breakfast, which serves an extensive choice of fresh food and drinks, whilst listening to music played by the talented harpist, pianist and saxophonist. T...
