Excellent location and very good value for money.

Allowed to check in early as the room was ready. Upgraded to a junior suite -well worth the money. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The robes, slippers and chilled bottle of local fizz were a lovely touch. Well stocked mini bar but we didn't use this.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice and friendly helpful staff.
Excellent location - we walked everywhere. Would definitely stay again....

Dark dungeon room with no windows

6-9 Dec arrived 2pm told room not ready. 2 hours later room allocated on 5th floor number 515. No windows in the room only 2 velux windows in the roof. Unable to open for any fresh air due to rain/sleet. Air con not working properly. Too hot and no fresh air. Should there have been a fire there was no way to escape!
Room was dark and dingy. Carpet dirty and stained. Hallway and doors uninviting looks like a dungeon. ...

It was a short business trip and one night stay. Exactly what is needed, for reasonable money. Clean and quiet room, good breakfast. Very nice location, by the way....

We have stayed at this hotel several times, mainly because of its location. The hotel is always exceptionally clean and has friendly service. It is also worth mentioning the good breakfast....

We were really impressed with the hotel, service and value for money. Lovely staff and great location, in and out to town a few times a day. Great coffee shops, grocery, and food places right outside and a lovely quiet stay with comfy rooms and really friendly, helpful staff. Sauna was a lovely free addition. ...
