Rixwell hotels, most probably the best hotels in Latvia! We stayed at Rixwell Elefant for the 3rd time. Extremely pleasant rooms and surroundings. Very polite, helpful staff. Food highly recommended. Great base when staying in Riga, a short bus ride into the Old City of Riga. We've been here at Christmas too, absolutely brilliant!...

The hotel is lovely, rooms are comfortable.
The staff are all amazing & helpful.
The gym is good.
Food in restaurant is great.
Location is a bit out of the way but you can get bus or get a ride on bolt....

We were in a group organized by a travel agency. We arrived early in the morning and were there in the afternoon. Good access, nice breakfast and the bar in the lobby was okay. Not a good location for those staying for a short time and wanting to explore the old town. Also few restaurants nearby. Interesting architecture....

Location is good if you need fly early morning! Im always stay in Elefant Hotel! Price depends of season . If you travel with children it for you! Staff always take care and your children like you come back here!...

Overnight stay to catch an early flight

I am sorry, but this stay was totally a disappointment ! It felt like a 3-2 star hotel, not 4!
Firstly, the entrance is made of awkward sharp stones, which can easily damage the wheels of the suitcase!
Secondly, the service didnt feel warm and welcoming!
Moving forward, the hair dryer was awful! One of those very old ones and you have to hold the button all the time while in use- not appropriate for a four star hote...
