Good stay at Colonna Palace Hotel

We stayed here for 7 days, and my wife and I were both happy. I was aware it was an older type hotel before booking but its location is just perfect.
It overlooks the Italian Parliament and because of this there is always a large Police presence which I found to be reassuring.The Trevi Fountain and the Parthenon are both about 5 minutes away.

Location was perfect - 2 mins to Pantheon, 5 mins to Trevi fountain, 30 mins to Colosseum. Hotel was lovely, very clean, fantastic view from the roof top terrace where we ate breakfast each day and chilled out in the late afternoon. Stayed in this Hotel for three nights everything was perfect. Check in, Room had great views and a beautiful clean room, comfortable room for a good nights sleep after sightseeing in Rome. I stayed 3nts in January. The lobby is pleasant, nice to have a glass of wine in the evening and relax. The front desk was helpful with directions, calling me a taxi and answering all questions that I had. The room I had was dated (I was expecting this from previous reviews).
