Spent 4 nights here recently. Its a beautiful old building and the rooms are cleaned daily.
The breakfast is basic but fresh and plentiful.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
A great experience from start to finish. And close to some excellent restaurants!...

The one good thing that could be said, it's near the metro. The building was old/historic and quite impressive ' from the outside ' but not a place to stay in. We found it Unclean, The atmosphere was definitely musty. The plaster was falling off the walls every time you went near it which couldn't be helped as there wasn't room to squeeze down the side of the bed without rubbing on the wall. Although this hotel has a fascinating history . It is let down by it's lack of amenities. Rooms are very basic . No tea or coffee in rooms. Breakfast could be improved even a toaster would help. Although you do get a good night's sleep as it's so quiet.
Thee is a lack of restaurants nearby so you need to get a cab into centre or stay there after doing sights.
Staff were helpful & pleasant.
But watch out for cab ...

We have just got back from our stay here. If you want to stay in a place that is completely unique, then this is it. What an amazing experience. We loved every minute.
We had a room which was on a floor all by itself and the view out of our window was beautiful. We woke every morning to the bells in the Basilica. The Basilica itself was lovely.
