No denying this is an excellent location, the hotel itself lives up to four stars, the staff are amazing and the rooftop breakfast was a highlight.
My room (222) however, not great. Backed onto the lift so constant clunks and bangs with loud talking from people waiting for the lift. The bed was a sofa, quite hard and not too comfortable. The "excellent views" promised on the website, non existent as I looked out onto...

We stayed here from 5th jan to the 9th jan 26.
Lovely old hotel and our room was small but lovely decorated. We stayed in 210 and looked on to the little street beside the hotel.
Had a amazing sleep here the bed was so comfortable. Nice size bathroom.
Breakfast was served on the roof top in the restaurant. Great choice of food for breakfast . Only thing I didn't like about the hotel was its lifts. But staff and hotel...

Great little hotel close to everything

Lovely hotel, close to everything 10 min walk to Colosseum, very clean and tidy, staff are very welcoming and friendly.
We did B&B and ate out at local restaurants which we enjoyed as we got to laugh & chat with local people - even though there were at times a language barrier.
Rome was a trip we will never forget, it is mind blowing, the history! WOW! the culture, the shops, the restaurants, the air smelt of amazing...

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location, walk to the main train station and walk to the Metro for Vatican visit and the colusseum and roman forum down the road. It is a very elegant hotel. Breakfast on the roof was brilliant, good choices and great service. the room was a bit cramped, not much space but big enough but did have a great bed, view and bathroom. We have just returned after 4 days in Rome staying at Forum Hotel. This is a beautiful classical Italian hotel very central to many key attractions with the Colosseum less than 5 minutes walk away and Spanish Steps 20 minutes walk. They have a stunning roof top bar.
