Lovely boutique hotel with very friendly staff.

Very friendly and helpful service staff on check-in. Double room was clean and had all we needed for a 1 night stay. Good breakfast and great rooftop views of the city. Walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Would stay there again....

Nice location across from Nabona square, but not 4-star quality

Boutique hotel in an historic building, with its charms. Location is splendid, if you like Nabona area, close to so many key sites. Staffs very courteous. But because decor and facility are old-school, not sure whether this deserves 4-star level. Breakfast buffet was most disappointing....

Perfect location in Rome

Perfect location, just outside Piazza Navona, easy walk to many sites, including Pantheon, Vatican, Trevi, Colosseum, and near a key bus stop for longer distances, including Termini Station. Rooms are clean, serviceable, with tiny fridge and kettle. Limited power outlets (my big room had only 1, over sink). TV has no English language access. Front rooms somewhat noisy. 4 Stars? - No Way, No How

The plaque on the outside of the Hotel Genio may show 4 stars, but the plaque was probably placed there when there was still a king in Italy (1946). This hotel is at best a 2 star, and those stars are a gift, mainly due to the excellent breakfast buffet and the hotel's location. While the rest of the city is busy getting ready for next year's Jubilee, the Genio is mired in the past, desperately in need of a complete ...

Not 3 Star Hotel, but great location

Front Desk was helpful in recommending me a place to eat dinner, and changing my room. I was a single traveler and booked a single room with an oversized bed.
1. First Room had a small single bed and the toilet was constantly running but did not flush
2. Second Room was similar 10'x10' feet including bathroom , the toilet di work.
