As soon as I arrived at the grand hotel palace we was greeted by the kind faces behind the reception , The lady behind the desk recognized that it was my birthday and upgraded us to a beautiful suite with an absolutely stunning view . The room was very clean. It was modern and had beautiful marble floors the house keepers left us chocolates and a cake for my birthday and also a bottle of prosecco wich we are thankful...

Our trip to Rome was amazing and the hotel was the cherry on the cake.
We were always greeted by the staff with a friendly smile . As it was my husbands birthday we were given a room upgrade, Prosecco and cake in our room . This was such a lovely surprise. Our room was perfect.
The breakfasts were perfect too . I had read a lot of reviews that it wasnt great . But please do not worry it has more than you need . ...

Fantastic hotel. Excellent location - everything within walking distance. Friendly & helpful staff. Nice spacious rooms. Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Zero noise from traffic outside (we were on the 6th floor), plus comfortable beds & pillows = a great nights sleep.
The Spa area can also be reserved for private use [50 minutes], and has a pool & sauna.
We will be returning!

Decent hotel in the heart of Rome

Our family stayed at the Grand Palace Hotel for 4 nights in January for a family vacation. The hotel's location is great, as there are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Most locations are walkable, including the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.
We had two rooms, which consisted of a suite and a standard room. The standard rooms at the hotel are small and what you would expect for European hotel rooms....

Decent Hotel in a Good Location

Checking in was okay, staff were pleasant and the process was good. Our room was a little dated with a comfortable bed. Our bathroom had next to no counter space, and the tub was very difficult to get and out of to shower. There was also a step up to the separate toilet room....
