The Grand Hotel Palatino was definitely the best place that we stayed at during our trip. Our room was exceptionally spacious and clean. We had 2 separate showers, 1 with a bathtub and and 1 stand-alone. We had a nice sitting area looking out the window and a big walk-in closet. It was a fantastic stay....

Great location, excellent staff, quality breakfast. Neat and clean room. Was able to check in on time. Very helpful in storing our luggage, giving directions, calling cabs, etc....

This hotel was chosen for our trip to celebrate my 50th birthday, and while I was expecting a lovely stay, it far exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm welcome, and throughout our stay the friendliness of the staff and the level of service were exceptional. Everything was flawless and truly made our holiday in Rome unforgettable.

Great Location...the Colosseum is literally around the corner. The Roman Forum is at the end of the street. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Santa Maria Maggiore Church is just down the block and St. Peter in Chains Church is just across the street up the Borgia Staircase. Most of the other sites are within walking distance or have someone at the front desk call a cab for you. They will be happy to oblige...no tip ...

We had a very nice room on the fourth floor at the rear of the hotel. Well serviced, nice toiletries, tea, coffee and fresh water every day.
Breakfast was superb with so much choice.
The Palatino is in a great area with lots of good restaurants on the doorstep. Minutes from the Colosseum and within walking distance of all the main attractions.
