This hotel was chosen for our trip to celebrate my 50th birthday, and while I was expecting a lovely stay, it far exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm welcome, and throughout our stay the friendliness of the staff and the level of service were exceptional. Great Location...the Colosseum is literally around the corner. The Roman Forum is at the end of the street. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Santa Maria Maggiore Church is just down the block and St. Peter in Chains Church is just across the street up the Borgia Staircase. Most of the other sites are within walking distance or have someone at the front desk call a cab for you. They will be happy to oblige...no tip ...

We had a very nice room on the fourth floor at the rear of the hotel. Well serviced, nice toiletries, tea, coffee and fresh water every day.
Breakfast was superb with so much choice.
The Palatino is in a great area with lots of good restaurants on the doorstep. Minutes from the Colosseum and within walking distance of all the main attractions.

Hotel was overall was good. Service and the staff were impeccable. Rooms are very large, beds are comfortable and the shower towels are extra large. There was a renovation going on so you heard a bit of it. The rooms and hallway were a bit on the warm side as well. Location is wonderfulright by the coliseum and the forum. The area of Monti is quaint and quiet. ...
