Both my wife and I had a great time at the Hotel Ripa in Trastevere (Rome), while attending the Rome Tennis Masters at the Foro Italico.
OK its not in the Parioli neighbourhood, but its just a 10 minute walk to the centre of the buzzing eating/drinking area, that Trastevere is famous for.
The nearby speedy transport to the centre of Roman Rome is unmatched - just pick up the No 8 or 3 electric Tram, the best 1.5 ...

This hotel was the perfect hotel for our city break. The staff were lovely, it was clean, the breakfast was great and it was in a really suitable location. Would absolutely recommend and would 100% stay here again. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Ripa Roma!...

We had a really good stay at this hotel in Trastevere. The location is greatjust outside the hustle of central Rome, making it quieter and offering better value for money, yet still conveniently close to tram stops (though we mostly enjoyed the 30-minute walk into the city). It's also near plenty of great eateries and a charming square where we ended up dining every night.

Very disappointing. Whilst the staff were lovely the quality was lacking. Dont be fooled by the four star grading. The first room allocated to us was awful and we requested a change in room. Despite the new one being slightly better it was in desperate need of decorating, corridors dark and dingy. Dripping tap in bathroom and leaking toilet. Cleanliness very questionable....

We spent a week here in January, and chose the hotel based on the photos of the rooms. We had room 618, which was quite sizeable. As well as bathroom, there was a section separate from the bed, with a couch, a table, hot and cold drinks facilities.
The staff were warm and accommodating - helped us with our Italian language and with things to do and see in the area.
