Really odd room

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The communal areas were ok although could do with a freshen up. The lifts were tiny and old, made us wonder how wheelchair users manage as the lifts would be way too small. We liked the Trastevere area, lovely piazza and restaurants.
But our standard quad room was weirdly laid out. No shortage of space but it wasnt maximised. They have a comfortable ...

We stay here for three nights nice hotel clean room nice restaurant and bar great location. Two minutes walk from the hotel was the bus stops no3 and no8 .no3 too you to the colosseum and the no8 too you to near the treve fountain. The train station was about 15 to 20 mins walk from the hotel and there was a tirimisu shop 100 yard down the road...

While it feels like this may at one time have been a fun, unique hotel, we did not have a nice stay. The rooms had a musky scent, which at times smelled almost like sewage. A lot of the fixtures showed signs of wear and tear, including the bathroom fixtures in particular (which were not very nice), and the room felt dark and under-furnished. Under impressed by my stay here. The staff were rude , the rooms were basic & dilapidated.
However, the location was good for a short stroll to the cobbled roads lined with restaurants & shops.
The restaurant located within the hotel was actually pretty good - chilled vibes , good food and nice cocktails. The breakfast was also pretty decent....

The location is the only positive about this hotel. I paid over $800USD for two nights. My bathroom was filled with mold. I showed photos to the front desk and they moved me to an upper floor the following night. It was very difficult for me to move my two rolling suitcases upstairs on thick carpet.
