The hotel was in a great location, close to the main Termini Train Station and in walking distance.
The room was cleaned every day and was comfortable. The downside was all the TV channels were in Italion, but that is part of the experience. The lift was abit clostrophobic, mamimum of 2 people with cases were allowed in it.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel San Marco in Rome. The location was convenient for exploring the city, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions.

You could be moved! its not a good hotel!

Stayed here for 4 nights, or we were supposed to!!! They moved us like many other people to a 2 star hotel who had very rude staff and an awful room covered in mould. When asking for compensation we were brushed off. When asking for compensation from TUI who we had booked with we were told to contact the hotel who we did not get answers from. This hotel made our trip a nightmare. AVOID!!!...

We booked this hotel for 6 of us about 10 months ago as a package with Easyjet holidays. When we turned up at the hotel we were told that they were overbooked and therefore we could not stop there. We were escorted to another hotel (Archimedes) about 2 blocks away - which was awful.
It appears that the Hotel San Marco has quite a reputation of doing this to its guests who think that they have a room with them judgin...
