Convenient location with ready easy access to public transportation.
Quick check-in and check-out with bill just as expected.
The room was quiet and very functional with refrigerator and coffee. Comfortable bathroom.
Excellent complimentary breakfast and friendly staff....

My Go-to Hotel in Rome

This was my fourth stay at the Hotel Twenty-One and will continue to be my go-to hotel in Rome. The value is excellent for a hotel within easy walking distance to the Vatican. The included breakfast was excellent with many options available. The rooms are a bit small which is not unusual for European hotels. Everything was neat and clean and the front desk was very helpful.

The hotel has a good location, a 15-min walk to the Vatican. The neighborhood is quiet and there are some nice restaurants and shops in the area. The bed and pillows are comfy and our room is clean and faced the street. The no air-conditioning was turned-off and so we had to open the windows a bit for fresh air. The hotel staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is also delicious....

Careful of staying on the 5th Floor.

My wife a I booked for 4 nights and upgraded to a room with a balcony. I was advised that these were only available on the 5th Floor. Immediately above the 5th Floor is a rooftop bar area, breakfast area and lounge area.
Unbeknown to us the whole of this roof area is also used for parties. Our first night was a Saturday night and the party raged upstairs until after 11pm. After the party quieted down there was the...

The room was very clean, which was the most important thing for me. The staff were also very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was great, with excellent fruits, breads, cheeses, and cakes. The street where the hotel is located is very pretty, with trees blooming in early spring, excellent shopping, cafes, small markets, and you can walk to St. Peter's Basilica. I was very pleased with the hotel....
