Just returned from a 4 night trip. We had a pleasant stay. Corridors and reception clean. Our room ( 504) could do with a bit of a decor update, but was clean and a good size. Comfortable, king- sized bed. You hang a sign on your door handle if you want your room serviced. Bathroom clean. Shower small and would not be suitable for larger people but water was always hot. Ok for me but my husband who is average size...

Would not stay in a place with staff who lie

We tried to book this hotel and it showed availability online but when I rang to ask a question about having a cot in the triple room they said the room is not available and I would have to book 2 doubles.
Would not recommend this hotel for families....

Im not sure why everyone gives this hotel such poor ratings, especially knowing its a 3* hotel when booking. Weve had a great stay at Hotel Verona, the staff are so lovely and welcoming! We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms on the fourth floor, which was a little small but perfect for our city break in rome. The air con worked really well and could be adjusted. Dirty rooms, and a disappointing experience overall.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled after my recent experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst stays Ive had.
First and foremost, the room was very dirty. There was dust everywhere, the bathroom had visible grime,the shower curtain was very dirty and the bedding didnt appear freshly cleaned. It was unacceptable and made the entire stay uncomfortable.

Lovely friendly hotel.
We are just home now from our trip to Rome. Four nights at the Hotel Verona was an ideal centre for all we wanted to do and see. A perfect location for walking to various sites and an easy hub to use transport from Termini and Cavour metro.
