This was our first time to Rome so we were a bit nervous. I chose this place because of location and price and both of those proved true. This place turned out great for our needs for 6 nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a room which was in a building right next door. Yes, it was 2 singles put together but we thought the beds were great. Clean, lovely staff, and great central location from all the iconic land marks perfect stay.
Rooms cleaned daily and the Annex is a great way to spend a few days in Rome....

We spent 4 nights at the hotel. Good communication before arrival as the hotel replied to my email and gave me options of how to travel from airport to the hotel. We chose shuttle bus from outside the airport then walked the last 15 mins to the hotel.

A perfect location, central to all the fabulous attractions and restaurants all in walking distance, or an uber/bus ride to Vatican city. Very friendly helpful staff. Rooms were spotless great air con and the most comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again....

As a family of four, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Virgilio. We were able to secure one of the family apartments situated next door to the hotel. It was a bit strange not being attached to the actual hotel but we had lots of room for 2 adults and 2 teens. Even being beside the hotel, regular hotel services were available and the room was clean and well appointed.
