Two adults spent two nights here in early May and found it certainly acceptable with some unique quirks/annoyances like all hotels. The room was large but the bath area was small with little counter space. The day we checked in, it was cold outside, in the 50s. Turned out that heat is turned off in May so the room remained cold. Avoid this hotel- photos very different to reality.

Very disappointed. Except that the hotel seems old and very tired, the photos on the site are not a fair representation and can be misleading. The room is very basic. No fridge, no proper coffee machine, just a kettle. Cleanliness could be improved in general, both the rooms and public areas. However the linen was very clean.
Mattresses are solid - if its your preference.

Would probably not recommend this hotel. Rooms a bit old and tired, the pictures not fair representation, no fridges in rooms no easy to accesss laundry.
It is in a good location for the buses into Salzburg. Staff seem a little unprofessional towards no English speakers....

It is a beautiful property at a quick walkable distance from the main city centre of Salzburg. The room was clean. The hotel management allowed check-in earlier than scheduled time because the room was cleaned and ready. We got very good service from the reception. Comfortable stay for only one night. No complaints, everything worked. Not much amenities in the room. Hotel entry way and reception area had festive Christmas decorations. There was an interesting display case in the lobby showing beef aging....
