Just got back to our hotel after dining in the rooftop bar and restaurant.gorgeous views and ambiance!
Food was DELICIOUS loved the offer of bread, humous & olives as a starter! something we normally would order!
We both had burgers which were the BEST burgers we both had ever had!
Sadly waited a while for our wine which we had previously ordered at the start to have with our main course! Sad end tho to our dining...

This is Hotel is a great stay especially if you want to be in the heart of Salzburg. Great location! The Hotel is pleasant and I would reccomend. If you have booked room only, dont upgrade for breakfast when you check-in it's not worth it. There is a great pastry shop just across the bridge starting from 2.49. We found this place at the very last minute after an airbnb left us stranded. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful and got us into the last two rooms. The room was clean, cool, and quiet. Location was in the middle of everything, we walked everywhere. Wish we had booked this place from the start....

Good location, disappointing experience

I made a mistake when booking this hotel, booking 3 nights instead of 4, average £200 per night. I tried to add another night but none of the agencies seemed to have any availability. I contacted the hotel direct to be told that no-one was on reservations, and to go to the website! This I did and paid 418 euros for one night, for what I think was a "junior suite" There was tea & coffee maker in the room, but no milk!...

We stayed here for a week. Great location close to everything with wonderful views of the old town, fortress and river. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room on the 5th floor had a beautiful view across the river to the old town including the fortress.
