Lovely Centrally Located Hotel

Lovely central hotel, staff were helpful and friendly.
We loved the rooftop bar and the staff there were very friendly.
Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean.
Only negatives were that I had asked when booking two rooms if we could be close to each other and we were on different floors. Also there were no tea making facilities in the room which I felt was a bit mean, its been years since I have stayed in a hote...

This is a great hotel in a lovely location. Everything is walkable . We had an upgrade and the room was lovely and big . Scenery from window was stunning. Disappointed that the breakfast was not included in the price and was rather expensive. Eggs were not included and you had to pay extra for this . No toaster either so breakfast was disappointing....

Hotel Stein has a great location adjacent to the river and within a short walk of many of the things to see in Salzburg. Front desk staff was very pleasant upon check-in. The room itself was a bit on the small side but comfortable.
Temperature was warm/stuffy in the room, and we could not get the air conditioning to work properly. However, a mention to the staff before we left the hotel to tour for the day and it ...

I would have given Hotel Stein a five, but was disappointed that the breakfast wasnt included in the room price. We booked three rooms for three nights and felt that the price of the breakfast should have been included. We did receive a discount however. Also, the daytime front desk employee did not know the area well, and was unable to give good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Otherwise, the Hotel...

Nice stay in Salzburg

The hotel sits right across from the old town with views of the fortress. Breakfast was excellent. We used public transportation for our travels and the hotel was close to the bus stop , Mirabelle Gardens, and everything was within walking distance. Air conditioning was appreciated and can be hard to find in some hotels. This was a quiet sport with easy access to everything in Salzburg....
