A great place to stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The location close Union Square is great for a first time visitor to San Francisco. We rode the cable cars and visited the Art museums. The area is good for eating out too....

When i arrived, i saw a flight of stairs and the lobby up top. I looked down at my suitcase -- stymied and Alex who works for Beacon Grand helped me with my 40lb bag up the stairs. (There is also an elevator around corner to left). He refused to accept a tip....

Beacon Grand is a fantastic place for a special weekend! It's rare for me to book us a hotel room when we could easily stay with local friends, but a close friend reminded me that we used to go have cocktails here in the 80s when it was The Drake and we loved it, so I splurged for a room to celebrate our 9th anniversary. Alma at the front desk was very kind and found us a room on the 15th floor with a great view. ...

Great location, great employees, the rooms are very nice and clean.
We are return guests to the Beacon every time we come to the city and would not stay anywhere else!...
