What a great hotel perfect location 20 minutes walking distance to fisherman wharf . Breakfast was great rooms where comfort second time staying there . Staff is very helpful....

Very nice, clean, comfortable with a nice hot breakfast in the morning. Kind, helpful staff. #28 bus takes you to Fishermans Wharf or Golden Gate Park visitor center....

Very dated hotel,one lift broken waited for 30 mins at times on 7th floor,breakfast was busy ran out of food and no seats available.
Worst thing of all instead of refunding my $75 deposit they took an additional $75 so were now overcharged by $150....

Good stay overall, but a few frustrations

We recently stayed at Comfort Inn by the Bay and overall had a good experience, though there were a few drawbacks worth noting.
On the positive side, the beds were a really good size and comfortable, which made for a great nights sleep. The breakfast was also good, with a decent selection to start the day. We were lucky enough to have a nice view of the bridge, and the location is very convenientclose to Fisherman...

Terry and Jonathan are INCREDIBLY Kind today was my 87th birthday...and they were beyond KIND and welcoming...NEVER in all my lifetime of traveling have I been treated like they did today...everyone in their life time need to feel the JOY that I experienced by their treatment of an OLD guy...like me...
