Check in was quick and simple, room was clean and was quiet at night, the neighbourhood we went through beforehand was a bit rough but there seemed to be an invisible barrier and that element never crossed it, we felt quite safe there.

Check in process is very weird. Front desk staff not pleasant. Loud Boycotters at 5 am. Served coffee in dirty dishes.

Credit card for incidentals was approved but front desk agent lies about it saying card didnt go through-asksfor another form of payment- we comply-ultimately being charged 2x for full amount+incidentals.I dont know if this is some type of San Francisco hotel policy but a back up incidental card was very weird to hear or to be lied about-if you need 2 cards say it-it caused a lot of confusion & irritability between...

I've stayed multiple times in this hotel and have always received five star service from kind and professional staff (thanks always, Kathy and Manny!!!) The kind of hospitality that this staff provides is hard to find these days, making this hotel an incredible value....

I am an IHG Diamond Elite Ambassador and I absoutely LOVE this hotel! It's charming, the rooms are nice and have personality and the staff is incredibly friendly. I normally stay at the SF Intercontinental, but with more and more conventions coming back to SF, the prices and availability at the Intercontinental are getting ridiculous. Anna was at the front desk when we arrived. She was pretty snooty, and seemed to think shes working at a five star resort. She changed her attitude as soon as I told her the thermostat wasnt working, and became contrite.
