I chose Nikko over the Westin for the gym and sauna. And attention to detail. The nondescript entrance into a nondescript building that does not look like a hotel (as opposed to the show that is the Westin lobby + Chateau Montelena wine tasting room) is a small price to pay for having a large, state of the art fitness room. Good stay overall....

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Union Square. Safe area. Great customer service. Rooms are clean and visually appealing. My only complaint is that I do not like Asian cuisine. They mostly serve Japanese food. They have an indoor pool that sadly I could not get into because of skin issues. Highly recommend especially if you like Japanese food....

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We were only here for a night, but wed love to come back again. First off, the lobby smells amazing. As soon as you step inside, you get a big whiff of a pleasant, fresh aroma. I love that!
Our room was a Deluxe King, and it was clean and in impeccable condition. Very comfortable bed and fantastic shower. All staff were incredibly polite and helpful. I would love to return again!...

Walking through the door from Union Square to the Hotel is a jarring experience. It like walking into a different dimension. In a matter of inches you leave a loud and bustling shopping district and enter a space of tranquility. The staff remember you name from first introduction and make you feel as if you're royalty. Hotel Nikko is my favorite hotel in Union Square. I have been coming here for years and cannot imagine staying anywhere else. The location is convenient, the employees are delightful....
